Here is an immaculate Amanco 2.5HP Hired Man open crank hit and miss engine, ready to rally. Restored by its previous owner to a very high standard with rebuilt ignitor and magneto. Nicely painted and sits on an extremely solid steerable wooden trolley. It starts and runs easily with just a hint of a water leak due to a poor quality cylinder head gasket. It does not affect the running of the engine and can be ignored, but a new gasket set is included with the sale. A simple job to replace. There is a video of it running on YouTube. Just search for Amanco Stationary Engine and you will recognise the paintwork! Serial number gives a manufacturing date of 1923. Unexpected loss of storage space forces sale.
