The new innovative product combines the lifting of logs by 2 simultaneous jacks to a height where there is no need for a separate saw horse making it more efficient than a standard log lifting jack. Has skis on the feet of the jack so it can be used in muddy conditions and aids the movement when lifting to make it a less strenuous lift and a easy operation to perform. It is easy to chainsaw large logs into manageable lengths. With traditional log jacks only one end of the log is raised off the ground therefore you need to keep repositioning the log jack to make all cuts. The Forest Master Log Lifter has two lifting units that are joined together with a connecting bar. By positioning the lifting units near the centre of the log, the whole log is lifted off the ground so it can be cut into all necessary lengths without repositioning. Additionally, the Log Lifter features an ergonomically designed curved pivot section that makes it much easier to lift the log than the straight foot used on traditional log jacks. The Log Lifter has an adjustable jaw that slides up and down the lifting arm to accommodate different sized logs. The inner curve of the jaw features serrated teeth to better grip the log so that it does not slip when being lifted. They also grip the log securely to stop it rotating when a chainsaw is applied. We have now developed our own timber trailer. The trailer telescopes down to 2.5m to load onto transport trailers still attached to the tractor to speed up loading or improve room on smaller transport trailers and opens up to 4m when in work (adjustable rear bolster). The trailer comes on flotation tyres and is available with or without a crane. The bolsters are also removable. The trailer is designed to have a 3t gross weight although we could make larger or smaller trailers to suit. The twin axle 3t trailer is a good match for a compact tractor.
