Our stock fencing comes in 50m (164′) rolls and is available in 2 widths/heights, 1m (40) or 1.2m (4′). M10/120/15, M8/100/15 and M8/80/15 stock fencing for agricultural and garden applications is ideal for horse fencing, cattle, pig, lamb and dog fences or just as a boundary/boarder fence. Heavier wire than the light stock fencing, our fencing comes with 2.5mm top and bottom wire and 2mm middle and vertical steel wires. The wire can can be fixed onto machine rounded fencing posts or nailed onto post and rail fencing using galvanised U-nails. The 50m rolls will make a fence of either 80cm, 1m or 1.2m high, and to make an agricultural or garden fence higher, stock fencing is often topped with one or two lines of plain line wire or barbed wire. There are either 8 or 10 horizontal wires depending on size selected. The wires are closer together at the base and more spaced out at the top. The spacing is as follows. 0.8m from bottom to top, 89mm, 89mm, 102mm, 114mm, 127mm, 140mm and 152mm. 1m from bottom to top, 102mm, 114mm, 127mm, 140mm, 152mm, 178mm and 203mm. 1.2m from bottom to top, 89mm, 89mm, 102mm, 114mm, 127mm, 140mm, 152mm 178mm and 203mm. All 3 sizes have 150mm between the vertical stay wires. To protect from rust, the steel is galvanised which coats the steel with a layer of zinc during the galvanisation process.
