Ransomes MG-5 Crawler for sale. The MG-5 was the successful replacement to the original MG-2 and features a more powerful 600cc Ransomes single cylinder engine with an automatic clutch and forward & reverse gears. Built in 1949, I believe, this tractor was part of a private Ransomes collection for some time and is in the original paint. The rubber track joints are in excellent condition as are the track plates themselves. This crawler was given a highly useful electric starter/dynamo by the previous owner (although the starting handle can still be used if required) as well as a clutch brake to allow easier gear selection. This is a brilliant example of an oily-rag machine still very original but a bit easier to use! A brilliant compact tractor that can be stored in the smallest of spaces and enjoyed straight away.
