So how does it work? Manufactured in two sections from a very heavy-duty steel, the tamper-proof Ram lock simply slots together over and under the steering ram on any power assisted vehicle, and is locked in place with a unique key. It is fitted with the steering on full lock, thus preventing the vehicle being moved except in a circle, even if the engine is started by the thieves.
